The WCF The WCF
The Ten Commitments

Operational, not aspirational

The Ten Commitments are directly based on observed recurring characteristics identified in the world's most productive societies. They are operational. Every initiative, partnership, and public position of The WCF is developed with direct consideration for them.

01 We Hold Wisdom To Be Humanity's Gold Standard

Without wisdom, no values-driven progress endures. The WCF is dedicated to cultivating the conditions in which individuals and societies can pursue and apply it.

02 We Promote Historically Proven Values

We uphold cultural traditions and attitudes that have led to demonstrable improvements in quality of life for individuals and societies.

03 We Empower Human Systems

We continually evolve practical operational systems of human interaction that measurably enhance the well-being of individuals and communities.

04 We Treat Debate as Central to Learning

Engaging opposing views honestly is a sign of intellectual confidence. Only those who doubt their own arguments seek to discourage dialogue.

05 We Settle Conflict With Words, Not War

Every individual and community should, in the first instance, seek to resolve disputes without resorting to violence. War is a sign of failure in human dynamics.

06 We Celebrate Prosperity

Personal wealth is not evil. It is a noble intent when achieved through ethical methods, and has done more than anything else to lift billions out of poverty.

07 We Embrace Cultures That Embrace Us

It is the traveler's duty to honor established value systems in communities they encounter, rather than imposing external values upon welcoming cultures.

08 We Reject Cancel Culture

Censorship is a form of intellectual failure. We favor open debate and the courage to engage opposing positions rather than silence them.

09 We Follow Science, Not Dogma

We trust the classical scientific method and challenge ideologically-driven dogmas that substitute narrative for evidence-based policy.

10 We Believe Our Universe Has Purpose

We work on the basis that existence is meaningful, and that our ultimate mission is to seek and serve that purpose.
